The problem that the world is facing is huge, but we at Gunda in partnership with Hydrogen Assist Development LLC (USA) and in association with Hybrid Fuel Cells Pty LTD (AUS), are doing our part to reduce carbon monoxide CO, nitrous oxides NČO and carbon dioxide COČ emissions one vehicle at a time, through hydrogen-enhanced combustion in internal combustion engines!
This technology of hydrogen-enhanced combustion (HEC) has been researched for many decades around the world. There are reports and studies dating back to 1915 in Germany, and since then there have been numerous studies and tests done to improve the performance of internal combustion engines (ICE) with hydrogen enhanced combustion (HEC). But because crude oil was found in huge amounts around the world it became the basis of a cheap fuel alternative and the development of hydrogen-enhanced combustion (HEC) has not been developed as it could have been by motor vehicle manufactures. Now climate changes is forcing everybody to look at alternatives to reduce their own personal carbon footprints and with about 9,000,000 registered vehicles on South Africa roads alone, there is much work to do here in Southern Africa just like any other region in the world.
